I think the first car I ever turned the wheel in was our Chevette when I was really little. Our parents used to let my brother and I take turns sitting on their lap and just steer while they did the pedals down our dirt road (we lived in the STICKS!)
I must have been 5.

When my older brother was learning to drive around 15 for his license, I tagged along (I was around 12-13). We drove the family Oldsmobile Cutlass Cruiser station wagon. lol

When it was around the time for me to learn for my license, we had an 89 Pontiac Bonneville, which eventually became my car in college. That thing is still going strong, now my younger brother's vehicle. Engine just won't die, although it needs new motor mounts.

My car for drivers ed was a Corsica. I remember there was a lime green Geo Metro that everyone wanted. Looking back, why the hell did we all want to drive that pile of crap??

I learned manual on my GL a couple years ago
