This question has probably been asked before, but I haven't seen it. Anyway, just wanted to know which car took your cherry? For me it was a Gold 1989 Grand Am (even had a firebird on the hood)
I was 17 and it was the driver's ed car. That was back in day. I didn't learn to drive 5spd. until 1997. I bought a 1998 Civic HX, it was a stick and I couldn't drive it at all. Part of my deal was for the salesman to drive it off the lot to my job. Then my friend drove it home for me from there. I learned 5spd. that night, baptism by fire style.
I haven't looked back since. Every car I've had since then, minus an Acura CL, has been 5spd.
