What my friend did was aim the low beams all the way down, so they cant go down anymore. And he just drives around with his low and high's on. That's kind of dumb because you can't take full advantage of the high beams when you need them.
Thats true. 
absolutely agreed, was driving on mountain rods yesterday, and LA has been recently hit with alot of rain, almost no visibility without highs on.
