He's talking about the light socket, not the housing socket. Mine went into the housing socket OK with a little wiggling around.

Difference - slight
Should you do it - If there is a concern over JOHNNY LAW - NO! as the difference is slight
Will you get flashed - I get flashed MORE with the correct Hi/Low than with Hi/Hi....? The cars were set up together.
