I've been building for a few years. I'm currently sub shopping (with some input from Dave
). I have a new HT room (well, I will on march 12) to work with. Next fall, I plan to upgrade the tv to something in the ~50" range. The pic below is my current setup. I have a new component rack waiting still in the box for my new room. At that time the center channel speaker will go directly under the tv.
