well laptop = pc its the same thing
the reason i say set it up wired is because
say you seting it up and you loose the wireless connection if you were in the middle of configuring someting or upgrading the firmware wich i do recomend i have the same router
the router would not let you in or or worse
so when setting it up use the cable
