Yeah, but it sure is great when you find an already hot woman, that can also drive a stick

Do you REALLY want any quality input from us?

Then how about you PLEASE let us know WHICH STATE you're in, and whether the warrant is from a traffic court or misdemeanor level county court.

Or did you really want to hear a lot about how it works in someone else's state with different court rules and procedures?

YES attorneys are expensive. But compare one to the $500 you just cost yourself for NOT seeing one right AFTER you served your days in jail the first time, and you're still not out of the woods yet.

I'm still paying off the $3500 it cost me for a lawyer, and impound, and another $1000 in bail for "felony possession of a controlled substance"

Cop pulls me over, I am nervous because I am deaf.. so he thinks I have something to hide.. he frisks me and I forgot I had a pocket knife in my pocket.. he asks if I have anything else to hide, and if I would mind him looking in the car.

I tell him to go ahead, and he begins to do so.

Now, my wife is pregnant, and she craves KFC biscuits all the time. The cop pulls out this white speck and says "hmm.. looks like crack, to me"... I tell him its a biscuit crumb, as I am just SURE of it... but he arrests me, and I spent 3 weeks in county.

They tested it and it came back "positive".. so my lawyer had them restest it at an INDEPENDANT location, and it came back as nothing, "most likely some sort of bread, or dough... " WELL NO #$%@!!!!!

So.. now I owe the lawyer, the impound, and the record expulsion.

Good luck, but don't expect anything back, except your bail, if you do appear at your court date.

You gotta get rid of that woman.

Just playing, so how did she get home then? Did they haul her away, too? Did you have to pay an additional 200 to gether out of impound? J/K

I think there is no chance of you getting your bail/impound back. The courts are like that. Even if they make an error, they still make it seems like you are in debt to society. Be careful, though. Make sure everything the cop says is true. When he finds out you were arrested wrongfully, he could make something up like, tint+ speeding+ he was resixting (I had to ask him three times toi get out of the car+ he said stuff about my mom... etc. They will try that. No cop wants to get slapped in the face with a false arrest charge. They will make it seem like they had no choice.. warrant or not, taht you were just outright unrully. I'd go to your court date with an attorney, a good traffic attroney. Thats probably the only way of getting ytour cash back... plus maybe a little more for the mess up. But its rare. Good luck, bro.

I wish people who post about the law, actually knew what they were talking about. If the officer has information that you are wanted on a warrant, and in the officer's experience that information is correct, he is in no way liable for a false arrest if the warrant later turn out to be incorrect. Therefore, there would be no reason to make up any of the lies you claim are common to cops. Give me a freaking break here.

Further, if your warrant was incorrect, you will get your bail money back, the apology of the court, and likely the impound fees refunded as well. People (and sometimes computers) make mistakes. Try to understand this. The cop is just doing his job. If you go to court with a chip on your shoulder and smart off to the judge, you could end up with a contempt charge and then be in some real trouble.

My wife prefers stick-shift cars too , she won't have anything BUT manual from here on out . All of our cars are stick-shift , BTW .

Sorry for the hijack of your thread ... now back to your regularly scheduled program , already in progress

If you are referring to MY case, then yes there is.. and is an option that the lawyer and I are already exploring... getting this first case settled first, then going from there..
