What I'd buy:
EQ - Audiocontrol 2XS (or equivalent) - eBay used < $50
4ch Amp - Lanzar OPTI200X4 - www.audioblowouts.com - $235
It's tough to find a good 4ch amp to put out a true 100+ watts into a 4ohm load in the < $200 range without going into the used market.
I too have the 7" Vifa PL's which are only getting maybe 80w, and they do seem a bit underpowered at that point. I'd love to hear them with 150w pushing them.
