Hey guys I have for the past year been riding around with my components in the doors with nothing to power them, so I figured this winter while its stored away I will finally get them powered. Anyway I have Vifa 7" mids, 4 ohms, 100wRMS, and Audax 1" tweets, 6 ohms, 50wRMS. I was wondering if I can wire the tweeters to 4 ohm or not? I was looking at getting the PG octane series R5.0:4 amp rated at 80wRMSx4 at 4 ohms, that way i figured it would be around 50-60 watts RMS. I need to stay on the somewhat cheap side for amps and JBL stopped making the amps I can afford. Any help would be great.
