The CD4E just isn't a "drag racing" transmission. You don't want to even think of neutral-dropping it, and you've really got to commit to pushing the gas pedal through the floor to get to redline before it shifts. If it had the external cooler and CD4EJr. kit installed, then I guess you could really hammer it, but you know, you pay to play. That's why I never wanted to autocross my Contour.
