Well the sensor is replaced. Not sure if that was the problem or not, but we will find out pretty soon I am sure. I hope the stupid CEL doesn't come back on.

Ok well the ECT sensor was not the reason for the CEL. I am starting to run out of options and patience with the car. Now I see where all the horror stories come from about Fords.....

I really don't want to have to replace o2's if thats not the reason but I may have to try it soon anyway.

So does anyone know if Ford can do a better job at diagnosing my problem. My mechanic had the car for two weeks and ran his diagnostic tool on it and tried a few things and I have tried a bunch of stuff and I still can't figure out what the problem is. I just don't want to take it to Ford and have them try the same things that I have done. I just want it diagnosed and have them pretty positive they know the problem. Is Ford able to do something that most mechanics can't do?

Thanks in advance.

Well I am not sure what brand diagnostic tool my mechanic has but he is a pretty good mechanic and knows what he is doing. As far as the service manual goes, I went through the list of stuff for the codes that I have without replacing random parts and nothing has worked so far....
