Thats what I thought too. I am in a little bit of confusion as to this thing as I had a look at the SVT engine that I have and I can clearly see the "oil cooler" behind the oil filter (the filter screws into the cooler), I see 2 lines coming from it, one going into the water pump and one line the goes up beside the right side of the engine towards the coolant tank. I have looked at pic's of SVT engines and it seems that this pipe connects to the back of the coolant resavour tank as my tank does NOT have this extra connection on the back (V6 SE engine). It seems clear to me as to "where" this line connects, what I am confused about is "why" are people staing that more lines NEED to be ran?? Like dwh...why did a shop have to install more lines if it came with the cooler?? (maybe the lines connecting to the cooler were not provided with the engine, but it is hardley "alot more hose work"). I don't see where or the "need" for extra hoses.
Shaggy...please if you could...send me this doc you have so I can confirm this. My e-mail is britskw@hotmail.com. Thanks!
All I plan on doing is either getting an SVT's Coolant resavour tank or drilling a hole in mine and sticking this hose in (sercurley of course).
I'll see if I can take some pics of it and post them here.
