Hey Simon,
My engine came with the cooler too. I had it installed at a shop, and asked them to hook it up. They told me it was just alot more hose work from the cooler to the heater core. And they didn't charge me, except for the extra hoses. If you can get ahold of a service manual, it should show the different parts needed if you want to do the work yourself.
