Definitely in your best interest to use an oil cooler. I'm not sure how hard you drive, but the increased compression in the SVT motor makes for more heat hence the need for extra cooling. I'm not sure exactly how the SVT oil cooler is set up, but you can get an aftermarket oil cooler from any speed shop. Good luck with the swap!
