I meant charging voltage with the car running. It should be between 13-15 volts. Measure it at the positive and negative battery posts. If you measure less than 13 volts, then measure again at the output post of the alternator(+) and the case of the alternator(-). If still less than 13, then alternator is bad (again?). If you now measure 13-15, then you have an open in the circuit from the alternator to the battery (maybe a blown 175 amp mega fuse).
According to the charging circuit wiring diagram, a burned out charge indicator bulb has no effect on charging.
