my battery is like new, charged 12.60... Charged it a few times today, and put it in, and it just drained rightdown... Cleaned all negative side ground connections, reinstalled and still no good volt reading while running ... Just curious , if the bulb had to be good , in order for the alt to recieve signal from wire , now that I recall the battery light does not come on when key is turned on...I read , where some alternator cicuits , require the bulb to be good to complete , the loop
