alright..well here I go...
'98 se 2.5 dohc, 115k, atx...
A few months back, while driving, battery light came on and everything started to dim...of course bad alternator..had it replaced, no problems for bout a month. then same thing happened again, so i took it back to the mechanic, and he replaced it for free under warranty, and said it was just a bad alt. Well, now it has happened once again. This time no battery light came on and the car went dead within 2 miles of my lights dimming...There is no waaaay that this one could have been bad when put it in. Obviously it was the mechanics quick fix by replacing the alt. and not finding out why my alt. keeps failing. Could the battery light be burnt out on my dash, not allowing the charge to get to the alternator? I checked all the fuses they are ok....Any Suggestions?????
