Took it to the exhaust shop today. Post-cat flanges were heated, bolts were punched through, new bolts added. Rear bank nuts were heated and removed. New nuts added. Everything was done fast and cleanly. I could have had them install the new pipe while it was on the lift, but wheres the fun in that...?
Goes back on the jack stands tomorrow...
Also, there is a nut attached to a bracket that is welded to the stock y-pipe that holds the pipe against the frame (underside of car). This nut is just to the right of the rear banks section and requires a deep socket to unscrew. My question is - What size socket is needed to unscrew this nut?
