Thanks for the input. Point taken on the sub. I knew audiobahn didn't make the best stuff but i wasn't sure about their higher priced items. Any suggestions on a different sub??? I was trying to stay relatively inexpensive with the system. While it doesn't seem inexpensive, my employee accomodations on the infinity product is below 50% off normal retail prices.

So was I correct that we are looking at the Circuit City line up?
If so the best brands you carry for subs are MTX, Alpine and Infinity.
I would suggest the Alpine Type R's, MTX 7000 series or above or Infinity Kappa Perfects.
Stay away from the Alpine Type E's or S's and the Infinity Reference series. The MTX subs are all good, but you would be overpowering anything below a 7000 series.

Carpepoon,

Yes i do work there. I was looking at the type R's but we don't carry them anymore, nor do we carry the x type. I've never been a big fan of mtx(previous quality issues). However we are going to pick up kicker in the spring maybe i'll just wait to see what kind of lineup we are going to carry. keep in mind the sub amp i want to use is 1100 RMS! so its probably going to be an L7, unless i can get my hands on a JBL Gti series 12".

Whats ur budget, if ur amp is 1100 rms 2 Memphis HPO 15 would be nice (thats my setup)... also good brands to look at are Resonant Engineering RE website or it money isnt much of a problem Digital Designs makes some good stuff DD. I wouldnt get audiobahn they suck, good paper weight. Adire makes good subwoofers and You can get a Dayton Audio DVC 15" from Parts Express for 132.50. Daytons are great subs and come with a 5 year warranty.

well if your looking at Circuit City's lineup. and only want a single 12" with that much power going to it... then by far go with the Kicker L7
