Check your retaining spring.. this is most likely on backwards.... I bet you placed it back over the caliper upside down as it LOOKS like a perfect fit that way..


The wire should go OVER the caliper, from one side to the other, and not slighty underneath, where the metal just HAPPENS to fit perfectly, anyway..
