OP Jim Bandy Member J Joined: Dec 2001 Posts: 125 Studio City, CA	How much louder does the car get with the full Mystery mod. All three? 98.5 SVT, Vortech SC, Bassani, Quaiffe, Clutchmasters Stg. 3, BAT Sport Springs/Konis, 17" Momo Arrows, Sparco Brace,BAT 22mm Sway Bar, PIAA fogs & headlights.

tw0wheelin Member T Joined: Jul 2000 Posts: 1,701 Memphis, TN area	Dunno about all 3, but cleaning the pre-cats made my V6 about 10-15% louder in the cabin. Most of the increase seemed to come from the engine compartment as opposed to the tail pipe. A bigger res helps tame things down until you start matting the pedal. Deleting the main cat is alot louder, but not any better from most posts I've seen. Scott 95 SE-2.5L ATX (120K+ miles & many mods)

Currently I have headers, y-pipe, 2.5" resonator, and dual 2.25" mufflers and the sound is awesome. Except the rasp! Horrendous when cold, only livable when warm. So I'm putting a high flow main cat in. 2000 SVT #674 - Check it out! Whoever coined the phrase; "If it ain't broke; don't fix it" ~ Just doesn't get it...

Originally I had rasp, drone without the Dynomax Resonator, now with my current setup, no rasp. 98 T-Red Contour LX V6 Mtx 106k miles 9" K&N, Aussie Pipe, Dual Mode Damper, 19lb. injectors, SHM MAFterburner, Ford 9mm Wires, Mystery Mod, ShoShop Off-road Y pipe, Dynomax Resonator and Muffler, 2.5" custom cat-back.

SVT or a Tour/Mystique 99 SVT Tropic Green #151 of 503/ 2760 total Born on 10/07/98 Adopted 7/15/00 LETS GO RANGERS (looking good this year)
