I believe it was just on option for 98+. Mine doesn't have one, but the of u look under the radio area it looks like there coulda been one put there. Glad mine doesn't have it. I don't need it. Idk about pre98's...

The 98+ ashtray was an add on that went into the cup holder.

Pre98 ashtray is built into the console I forgot about the 98+ ashtray option, haha. It goes into the right side cupholder, that "half cupholder" that can't hold drinks.

btw its a sensor that makes my o/d light flash a,d make it go into fail safe mode, I forget the name of the sensor... but it has to do with the tourqe converter engaging/disengaging. you can hear it when drivingo on the hwy.... the rpms will go up and down.. and eventually the light flashes LOL

The cup holder on the right is the one I use most. I pulled out the rubber thingy, put down a fresh napkin, and set my coffee cup in there. It's perfect when used that way.
Must be that jumbly-wumbly thing happening again.

I just bought the cupholder replacement from SigL-M. Should be here early next week. Problem fixed!

well... i was pretty sure the ol' penguin in the dash was a slick move... until i got in today and noticed some liquid around various dash parts. no wonder the air freshener was ON SALE @ wall mart
