How do I bypass the air sensor in the stock air box? I am going to order a cold air kit from spmotorsports.com soon. I would like to know how to bypass the air sensor.

You would never bypass your IAT.

You just find a new place to mount it in the incoming airflow.

the iat and its placement indeed makes a difference....when i added my monster flow filter it was supposed to be part of a CAI but the intake pipe wouldn't fit my car due to the atx....so i just used the filter and had nowhere to mount the iat....my car ran fine since it was winter anyway but a couple months ago i bit the bullet and put a hole in the sleeve connecting the filter to the maf adaptor and stuck the iat sensor there....car immediate ran soooo much more responsive i was sorry i didn't do it sooner...

i think spmotorsports sells a kit that gives u a place to put the sensor....bat has one too i think
