Magnaflow or Dynomax Ultra Flo? Or something else? The three mufflers I'm looking at are: Magnaflow, 18-inch long, 5X8 oval, S/S, Magnaflow, 24-inch long, 5x8 oval, aluminized (  ) Ultra Flo, 20-inch long, 4.25x9.75, S/S I have MSDS headers, no cats, and this will be the only muffler in the system. It will be located where the stock resonator was.

I have the Ultraflow in the stock resonator position. Without a muffler it will be too loud. I added a muffler too. Its nice, deep now, and quieter.
Other exhaust components: No cat or pre-cats, ShoShop y pipe, and custom 2.5" exhaust.

I'm hoping that with a jumbo-size center muffler, mufflers in the rear will not be necessary...
Besides being loud, how did your exhaust sound? I can live with loud, as long as it is "good loud" (not too much done, little to no rasp).

I'd go with the longest muffler you can find.
I would pick also pick MagnaFlow over Dynomax for a single muffler. It's quieter.

Def. Magnaflow!!! I put one on it sounds great. it gives you a nice low tone. I got the 6inch round magnaflow and it fit perfect. I suggest the Magnaflow. Jerry

If the "flash" of the exhaust is not a major factor with you, go with the aluminized as it also carries a lifetime guarantee... Save you some dough...

I have a center muffler only, put its a 1 in two out setup. Muffler is a cherry bomb vortex, sound is awesome imho. Alot of fab work to bend the rear pipes around the gas tank though.

I just got my Dynomax Bullet.Putting it in place of the resonator,just waiting on a check.Its about 16.5" long.Anyone have any thoughts on the sound.Factory muffs.

bigtroubles with Dyno max in my area lately- All the shops quit selling them - something about EPA junk. I haven't liked the sound of them. Obnoxious IMO. I like the magnaflows. Gotta stay legal so I am going with flowmaster

A cat I could understand but mufflers???
