I don't think it would be half of the normal price, because the total package includes equipment, cleaners, anesthetics, etc. Not to mention just paying the doctor for his time to hack on your jimmie(s). Maybe the doc will knock off like $30 for spending a little less time and using a few inches less of suture.

However, I should have gotten one, as my actual time in the "OR" (I've never noticed a Craftsman tool box in an OR before, interesting.) was about half. I think it took him about 5 minutes to cut out the 2cm of vas deferens. The shorter surgery time let him catch up as they were running about 30 minutes behind.
