A shorter glasspack usually means louder, not sure about rasp.

Changing to a low/no restriction without any other tuning chages will always give negative effects...the 'must have back pressure' is a old wives tale!!!!' :rolleyes:

Just had to chime in here and say that the dual-ilet/ual-outlet cat is notrecommended as it negates the effect of a true duals exhaust cos the exhaust is forced to mix together in the cat, so you end up with a quasi-dual again.

An x-pipe is not replaced by these cats.
