its weird, but it works. Shift really slowly from 1st-2nd and 2nd-3rd... after that it doesn't matter. The problem is in the OBDII emmissions crap. The engine will very slowly decellerate (negative acceleration for you physics buffs) to keep emmissions low. All the 2.5s from the 93 Probe GTs have done this. Damn flywheel acts like it ways 10oz spinning it up and 80 pounds slowin down.. Try the slow shifting thing. The other option is to drive it like you hate it.
