5 sets of front rotors??? That's a bit excessive, IMHO. I have a 95SE that I drive the hell out of. I'm no grandma driver. I just replaced my front rotor at 119K miles. (Although I'm on my 3rd rears (but I also had a frozen caliper)).
I'd start to think that you have other problems besides a poorly designed rotor by ford. Do you use a torque wrench when putting your wheels on? You're getting about 20K miles per rotor. That's not very much... Hmmm... Oh well... [my less than 2 cents)
I love my Contour to death, but my 'vette is still my #1 baby. There's money to be made in racing. I should know. I put a lot of it there. You can make a small fortune in racing. Start with a large one. How fast do you want to go...how much money do you have? You can fix a lot of things, but you can't fix stupid!
