basically if u have an SVT, you will not find gauges for a bit untill they start remaking them, which I hope it is soon

I know you guys are going to kill me for doing this.
Who knows "if" or "when" SVT indiglows will become available. In the mean time, I want to downgrade my SVT cluster to a regular V-6 cluster with Tach so I can use these non-SVT indiglows I ordered. I will change back to my SVT cluster as soon as I can. Where can I buy a regular V-6 cluster, or should I try a junk yard? How do I fix the speedo for this downgraded gauge? Is it just a gear in the tranny I change, or will the downgraded cluster have a chip in it that automatically corrects this?
I know you guys think this is lame, but I want some sort of indiglows for the moment. Thanks for any help on doing this!

no! look at the two clusters and see why that is a bad idea.

What are you getting at? One cluster reads 130mph and says V-6 on the tach, the other cluster says SVT on tach and reads 160mpn, what other difference are you talking about?

What are you getting at? One cluster reads 130mph and says V-6 on the tach, the other cluster says SVT on tach and reads 160mpn, what other difference are you talking about?
umm..one reads 160, the other 130...get it now?!?

SO what? a 30mph difference. It's not like I'll ever see the 142mph top speed of this car. I'm only having the 130mph cluster until the 160 SVT indiglow becomes available.
My main concern is correcting the speedo. Is this done through a speedo gear in the tranny or electronically in the cluster?

Haha.Dude, your speedo is calibrated differently than the V6 speedo. Like it was said, I would love to be the officer pulling u over when u say "but officer, I was only going 75"  Do u get it now???
