Thanks for the comments. The Tdci has a 6-speed box, and Sony 6Cd changer, as well as global opening/closing for sunroof and all windows. Also has a trip computer like BMW's with the 'info' button on the indicator stalk which cycles through things like average speed, mpg, temp, distance to empty etc etc.
Its pretty peppy, but it cant touch the V6. I enjoy driving the V6 so much as its loud and instantly fast (no waiting for turbos to spool up) and the 6 is lowered on konis, and has almost all the poly bushings you can get for it.
They are both great fun to drive in different ways, but as I use the tdci for work, I really look forward to climbing into the V6 at the weekend.
Oh yea, and the 96, has whats called the 'Phase2 RS' body kit, hence the round fogs, and oval'd grille, complete with mesh on the front grille and rear lower grille between the rear exhausts. They are not very common, and I believe only made for the 1996 model year.
