My car's now on it's 5th (maybe 6th) set of front rotors after 107k miles. Finally did it myself and saved some money (piece of cake, for anyone who's considering it--just get the Haynes manual and you're good2go). I wanted to hold off on doing this, because I wanna upgrade to the BAT kit that lets you use the SVT sized rotors with your existing calipers. But I can't do that until I get new wheels (cursed with 14" steel). can I use the OEM SE 8-spoke 15" wheels or do I need 16's? I mean, I'd rather have a set of E1's, but I can't hold out forever.
I couldn't hold off on doing the brakes anymore--they were SO bad. The left front was warped so bad I had to beat on it with a hammer for a good 5 minutes to get it off the lugs. My ears are still ringing...
