Was ready to install a brand new Bosal stainless cat back system, and shop recommended I do not, due to proximity of high pressure fuel lines to pipes and y joint under rear of car. Clearance was only one inch or less. Recently had dealer install new fuel pump). Has anyone encountered this issue? I spend a lot of time in long traffic jams, so the heat rising from the exhaust could pose a risk. Is it worth trying to relocate the fuel lines? The Bosal exhaust supposedly fits my 2000 SE, although it is designed mostly for the SVT. Suggestions?
