Good analysis.

I had one done recently. At 5k, with a lot of short-trip driving (4 mile commute), I was OK but not great. The analyst said I could try to go 6k, but I'll probably stick to 5.

I was using an oiled foam open intake (ITG) and a K&N oil filter.

Still, lots of variables. Best way is to get one done and go from there. It's $20 for the basic contaminant analysis. $30 if you want an analysis that addresses extended drain intervals.
