I put my speed bleeders in yesterday, front and rear, and then flushed all the old black brake fluid out an ran some synthetic(Havoline?)thru it.
I wasnt expecting to feel this much of a difference!I did think my brakes were begining to fade a little, thought I needed new pads. But now,NOW these breaks have a new life to them.Maybe the old fluid was spent or just the synthetic stuff is really good.....
The
Speed Bleeders made the job so simple too, just connect a small piece of hose and pump untill the new fluid flows thru....repeat four times(each wheel).Took all of an hour or less.Plus I did it in the rain!If your married and have kids, they went to the mall,so you understand the time by myself thing..never happens. This is why I did it in the rain, that and I had already started and wanted to finish.
Sooooo anyway if you havent flushed your brakes lately here is your incentive.I have only 33K on my 98 and it made a heck of a difference!
