Nice info C, ...Im really beginning to consider what you said about just running aftermarket fronts and leave the stock back speakers. However, IF i decided to go the component route what would you suggest as really good components at a good price like the Crystal 5X7's are?
Should I stay w/ the Crystal brand? What size works best in the doors? The Crystal cSc model seems to be a good quality component. Any takes on it?
I think I want to stay w/ the silk dome tweet and 2-way set up(remember hearing anything over 2-way is a wasite) also a set that comes w/ a crossover is a must.
If i did go this route Im sure I would definatly need to run an amp to the componenets for them to sound good since they for the most part require and can handle more wattage.
Any tips or suggestions are welcome
