For your future plans (after getting the Crystals), I'd consider purchasing a 4ch amp - run the Crystals off the front channels and bridge the rears to a simple rear deck sub. With a relatively small investment, you'll have a very nice sounding system.

Thanks C, well Ive got 5 JL-W6's 12's sitting around in my garrage that Ive had for a while. 3 of them are for my 89 Stang GT 5.0...so I have two left over. I could just throw 1 in the SVT for some nice bass but nothing too loud. I also have a Pioneer amp sitting around that I could use to run that 1 JL
2 question though: 1) your saying run all 4 crystals off the front 2 channels of the amp then bridging the back 2 channels to power the sub. What kind of amp and size would pull this off? Any suggestions?
2)Know of any other place (reputable) that sells the Crystals other than the place i mentioned above?
Thanks
Don't even bother replacing your rear speakers. It's a useless exercise. Put that $$$ towards amping the front speakers. It'll be a much bigger payout. You might want to deaden the doors with some "high temp mastic" from www.mcmaster.com to reduce road noise and help the midbass response.
Just use the head unit to run the rear (stockers). Mine are turned off except for the rare occasion of rear seat passengers.
www.mmxpress.com has got the Crystal CSx-570's for $81. I've purchased a couple things from them in the past and have had good experiences.
