1)this brand seems to be a very good brand. Can anyone vouch for their performance.

2) The speakers Frequency Response is 60Hz - 20KHz. The Alpine head unit I plan on purchasing is 5-20khz. Does this mean I will be missing out on some of the sound that the speakers can duplicate?

3)These speakers are rated at 100 Watts peak power handling (couldn't find the RMS anywhere). The Alpine Im looking at puts out 26or27 RMS 60peak...is this enough to power these and sound good or will I need an amp.

4)lastly, is Audio-n-More a legit and reputable company? Anyone done business w/ them in the past?

Thanks Alot

P.S. you can check out the speakers here

(1) You can find some 1st hand accounts of Crystal's in the archive (IIRC, all were very positive). If I were going to do a simple drop-in 5x7/6x8, they'd be my first choice. I'm not saying they're the best speaker available, but their performance/$ ratio is very high.

(2) Human hearing is from 20-20,000Hz. Smaller speakers are physically incapable of producing deep bass (low frequencies) at high volumes. You'll need a subwoofer to cover the entire frequency range.

(3) It's enough to power them. A moderate amp with 50+ or RMS power would make for a nice upgrade down the road.

(4) Can't help you there.

For your future plans (after getting the Crystals), I'd consider purchasing a 4ch amp - run the Crystals off the front channels and bridge the rears to a simple rear deck sub. With a relatively small investment, you'll have a very nice sounding system.
