well actually these speakers are supposedly component speakers or component coaxial but rigged up for 5X7 instalation. Do they mean you get the sound of a component from a coaxial setup? in the site below it lists them as compnent coaxials as well.

The reason I don't want to go the component route is b/c i dont want to have to cut my doors apart or mod it to work. It would probably only need to fab a plate which will hold the component but then you have to mount the tweet and i dont really want to drill any holes in the interior or have some ghetto setup where they just hang somewhere. I kind of just want the drop in so it stays stock you know?

Anyone else have more imput or have any info on this matter or have done business w/ this store in the past?

Thanks Tempe for your reply. I guess they gave you what you asked for but it sucked they didnt give you the new and current model. maybe you had to ask for it or maybe it was them trying to save a buck or too, not sure.
