There is a hole in the corner where the everything comes together (under the hood hinge) that seems to open into the inner fender. If you remove the wheel liner, the hose should be able to be snaked out that hole, along the inner fender, and to the front where it can easily enter the engine bay with the a/c lines. Then with the wheel liner back in place, everything is good and hidden. (The hole exists, but like you say, it's cold out, so I haven't fed line yet, this is what looks like will work.)
Perfect, thanks!

Chris,
Have you actually set your accusump in that location? I've got a 2 quart unit and put mine in place this weekend. I don't think a 3 quart unit will fit in there. If you want I can snap a few pics.

Rick, I built a mockup unit out of carboard and its a tight fit, but it fit in there. Take some pix though, I'd like to see what kind of brackets you fabbed up and how you mounted them to the car. Thanks!

I've actually got it sitting in there with the stock brackets right now. I think I can rotate them to get a proper mount with just them. I'll be working on it the next few weeks though so I'll keep you posted.

oKay, just got done warming my hands up enough to type, after being out in the snow routing the hose.
I found a way that is REALLY EASY if you are putting your accumulator in place of the cabin filter.
My origional hypothesis that the hose can be routed through the drainage opening into the wheel well and then around and in down by the radiator will work fine, but there is an even easier way.
Hidden behind the Power-Steering resevoir is a hole in the inner fender that opens into the same area as the hole located in the cowl area. I ran -8 AN hose through both holes, behind the collant and P/S resevoirs, and down and around the front of the engine bay to connect the hose to the block next to the factory oil pressure sending unit. Used a 6' length and it's about perfect.

Nice. So the moroso unit you used has no electric solenoid valve on it? THat's what I'm guessing as I looked into that one a few years ago. Seems like the solenoid itself costs almost as much as the accumulator! I would think that would be OK to do. Sure, at startup you'd have a lot of oil in the crank case but it would quickly just fill the accumulator when you started it. Either that or you mount a manual valve somewhere and go close it just before you shut the car off.

actually I do have the electric valve, and yeah it did cost about as much as the accumulator itself.

Does anyone have any pictures of their installation? What's a recommended size to run? Is the one quart model enough or a larger 1.5 or 2 more ideal? I'm very interested in purchasing one very soon, and the BAT kit looks to be the most complete for the money.

I'll have pics soon... probably this weekend.
I can't say which size is actually the best, but two things to consider (when deciding) 1. The larger the accumulator the longer your engine is safe without pressure from the pump 2. How many quarts of oil do want to change when it is time?
I agree the BAT kit appears to be everything you'd need, but I can not verify since I went through SUMMIT and ordered the pieces to do it myself, I did however have a bunch of SUMMIT discounts so it cost me much less.
