I prefer Sauzo Commeratavo. (sp!)
I am sure there are better, but the SC goes down pretty easily for me. No lemon, no salt.

Put a gun to my head and you still couldn't get me to take a sip of any tequila.
The mere whiff of tequila makes my stomach heave...
Let's just say I had an "incident" with a bottle of the stuff in Juarez about a decade ago.

Well... I love tequila shots, but don't know the brands very well.
I wish I remember the one I had with Hightower in Chicago... that stuff was AWESOME.
Of course... then there was the wedding... I still should have given that bartender my number when he gave us those awesome tequila shots for free.

Jimador, Heradura and Trece Generaciones are fine distillations. In the better restaurants Mexico city tequila is commonly served with Sangrita (a close cousin of tomato juice) and a wedge of lime.
Cabo is good too.

Everone has a takillya story. I couldn't drink it for years after one such incident as an undergrad. I'd just smell it and my mouth would water and stomache would heave
Now I may take a shot once in a blue mood and it doesn't bother me.

Mark, I had a bottle of Sangrita but noone liked it so eventually I ditched it. I like it though. It's kind of like a shot of peppery tomato juice that you chase the shot with. That's the only real chaser I have seen in Mexico. Except for if you asked for "The Mexican Flag" which includes a shot of lime juice too.

Cazadores or if at a local bar I'll have a shot or ten of 1800. Used to be my drink of choice, but Jager Bombs have taken my soul!
