Just kidding...el Toro damn near killed me once.
I don't drink tequilla much, but when I do, it's Don Julio.

Oh that stuff is THE worst!
Last time I had a shot it gave me that reaction similar to when you get coke or any other pop up your nose. God-awful stuff. I swear it's made from the piss of Mexican winos found passed out in the guteer, in Juarez!
PS good tequila doesn't require lemon or salt.
I drink all my tequila's straight up. Ahhhh, that warm feeling in my chest.

Stazi,
First time I had good tequila I was shocked when I wasn't clamoring for the lemon. I was so used to the swill widely sold in the US.
Anyone have Cabo Wabo tequila? I hear that its among the best.

Yes, but it's tradition.

You're fukken hilarious! Tradition because the poor saps who don't drink good tequila need to do this so they don't gag!

Cuervo, because it's the best cheaper tequila I can ever afford.
And I don't use lemon or salt for any tequila. And also I'm used to drinking bottom shelf, cheapest liquor you can find, but I will never again drink a clear american cheap tequila.

Around Torreon, the popular thing has been to mix tequila with Fresca. Down in Mexico, Fresca is a sugar sweetened soda, not the diet drink sold in the US.
We have a friend down there that has "connections" to get liquor at way below wholesale. He once bought 2 pallets of tequila (dont remember the brand) off a truck driver. He's pretty sure they were "hot".
