Glenlivet for single malt, and Johnny Walker Black for mixed.
Either way you NEVER drink scotch on ice - the ice destroys the flavour. A little water is OK.
I went to the Johnny Walker Black Tasting Experience and learned a TON about the finer things of Scotch drinking and manufacture.

Excellent choice, I like that one as well. The one thing that I have never been able to get into are the scotch tasting/cigar sampling events. I just have never developed a taste for cigars, and I even had an authetic Cuban onced

I actually agree it tastes worse with ice. I think it's because the buoyancy of the ice and when drinking it you just get too much dilution...
