Has anyone ever looked into taking a TB gasket, going to a machine shop and having a throttle body spacer cut out of 1 inch plate.

There seems to be a bias against TB spacers or at least a reluctance to look into it.

TB spacers cause gains for alot of vehicles. I don't care about or believe in the swirl type.

It seems to me, if it can be cheap enough, someone should try it.

Just some thoughts. confused

TB Spacers are really iffy. I've tried a couple in different vehicles over the past few years, but I've never had any appreciable HP gains on the dyno. One gave me 3 RWHP on my '92 Town Car (on the dyno), but the rest were bupkis. I think they actually have a better effect on the cars with carb setups.

Kaiser dyno tested several sizes. No affect on power.
