hey everyone, lately ive been having this problem while driving.
usually at about 50 mph, which from what ive read is right about when 5th gear engages (atx), my car has this jerking sometimes if i accelerate lightly. i cleaned my MAF and that solved it, but it has come back again, and seems to go away every time i clean the MAF. for a while it was bad enough to throw a CEL for lean bank 1, but its not quite that severe this time and no CEL. its usually just one or two jerks until i get to about 60 mph while mildly accelerating.
i guess my question is that although the MAF clean seems to fix it completely, why does it only do it in 5th gear? ive tried to reproduce the problem at a lower gear/speed, but no go. it only happens while lightly accelerating and at the lower end of 5th gear.
