Yep...
You can also use a grinder on the metal lip that extends out. When I rolled mine...some paint cracked...
Then don't roll so hard When we did mine at Stazi's we had no problems.

Whoa, whoa.. OK... So I get a metal baseball bat, then I stick the fattest part in between the tire and the lip, and then I.... What? Move the car forward and backward, so the wheel will roll the bat back and forth? Should I have a fat guy sit in the back seat so it will be low enough to press the bat down on the wheel?

i used a bat and put some nice little waves in my rear fenders. it still wasnt enough either. i then used a grinder and in about 1 minute all was cured.. except for the [censored] waves!

You roll the bat and lever it up off the wheel, to push the metal tab away from the tire. The metal tab you're trying to manipulate is located towards the back of the rear wheel wells, RIGHT where the bumper lines up with the fender. You don't have to roll the car or jump around the back seat nor grind anything.

Ah, an excellent description, I totally get it now.
It's good that it doesn't involve someone in the back seat to weigh down the car, I only have one fat friend and I would have to trick him into sitting in the back seat for a little while, like "Hey man, get in there and feel that leather! Isn't that nice? Okay, wait 'till you feel the OTHER side, it's even MORE comfy!" LOL

LOL! Or you could throw a couple of cheeseburgers on either side of the rear parcel trayand then tell him to get in there and grab them before they got cold!

ha ha - nice. I too had the rubbing. I just took a hammer and tapped out that flange, but not too much to let the bumper stick out further than the quarter panel. The rest of the lip was not rubbing. I'm running 225/40/18 GT Racing Champiro tires on KMC units.
