I cant see how having the plates vertical in the airflow creates the same turbulance and obstruction as to not having the plates there and just the bar.

Im going to wait to do this mod until I can get a second 2000+ LIM and take the rods and plates out, but leave the spring mechanism in place for the IMRC cable to connect to. I will install the LIM and see how the car drives. If I like it and if my car tests stronger on the dyno and faster at the track, then I will keep it on.
