I was just wondering if anyone has any ideas on makeing a heat shield for a kkm or any open air element filter. I already talked with SVTJOE1 and he is interested also. I want to make something kind of like sho-shops "cold air intake". I have been experienceing Heat soak and loss of HP and I think a heat shield will help a lot. If anyone has any ideas throw 'em out. Also will taking my hood liner out help me with better cool air flow under the hood. Its just there for sound anyway, right?? This would not affect my paint is what I'm trying to ask?
