Greg I think you and Dan are looking at the charts wrong, that spike at the end is not the AFE, that's the Monster Flow. The AFE created more HP across the board than the Monster Flow accept at about 3700-4200rpm. Beleive me Greg, if John had a FMU the numbers would have been much favorable for the AFE especially if he had an exhaust setup. With the monster Flow that's just not the case, it doesn't need the FMU as the flow is satisfactory for the stock ECU. As STAZ mentioned, even he had to up the SAFC 3% just to accomadate for the AFE, and that's just guessing. The only place where the AFE fell short to the Monster Flow was in the TQ curve in the lower RPM, I can't explain it, but I'm sure the problem can be directed to the stock programmings.
