They are a step above the Philips Premium, which were 30% brighter (at 75m) than a standard halogen. These are 50% brighter, and did well in independent tests. I was about the buy the Premiums when I read about these.

Then I realized that my old source for Premiums (www.autooptiks.com) was a dead link. Now I can't even find the Premiums in the US.
