Seriously, it's been done in the Hot Rod community for eons. Bowtie powered Fords are everywhere. Chevy makes a damn good V8, deal with it.

Why go with a carbureted pushrod crate engine with a blower when I can buy a used LS1 and play with it? If I did stick to Ford, I would go with a modular engine, but then I get to watch my mileage plummet and my parts costs skyrocket. Istead of replacing a cam, I get to replace four, etc... The LS1 aftermarket is rediculously large. Should I decide to put a TT setup on the LS1 in a few years after the initial install, the gains on a large pushrod small block Chevrolet engine are astronomical even on 92 octane.

Make a little more sense now? I'm no Ford fanboy. I just happen to have owned a couple good cars.
